Gender is deeply embedded in the organization and exercise of power across political institutions, social structures, and everyday life. This call invites contributions exploring how gender shapes authority, domination, resistance, representation, and inequality. We welcome interdisciplinary perspectives from political science, political theory, and sociology that examine gendered power relations within states, markets, families, workplaces, and social movements. Contributions may address intersectionality, masculinities, feminist theories of power, political representation, gender and democracy, social reproduction, violence, sexuality, or contemporary struggles over gender equality. We particularly encourage empirical and theoretical contributions that examine how gendered hierarchies are reproduced, challenged, and transformed across different political and social contexts.
