The Call for Papers for the 2027 5X社区World Congress is Now Open!

The Call for Papers is now open for the 29th 5X社区World Congress of Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, Italy, from 24-28 July 2027. The #IPSA2027 World Congress will have a diverse program under the theme Uncertain Democracies: Rethinking Governance in a Changing Global System. Paper and closed panel proposals on any political science-related subject are welcome.
Hundreds of open panels are awaiting your paper abstracts. Select the ones best related to your research. Note that you can still submit closed panel proposals until 4 November 2026.
Paper Submissions
We invite you to submit a paper or a closed panel proposal. To submit, you will need to have an 5X社区online account (free). While 5X社区membership is not required for submission, it is mandatory for participation and registration for the 5X社区World Congress. Researchers are invited to submit a paper proposal to a relevant track or to a specific open panel within a track. The track groups are:
- Congress Theme (CT) Track;
- General (GL) Tracks;
- Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Tracks;
- Research Committee (RC) Tracks.
