This panel examines the transnational dynamics of far-right contentious politics, with particular attention to the international circulation of far-right ideas, strategies, and organizational networks. It explores how far-right actors, and especially far-right movements and grassroots actors, mobilize across borders through digital platforms, activist networks, and shared narratives centered on nationalism, anti-globalism, and antifeminism. The contributions analyze the interplay between local political contexts and global repertoires of contention, highlighting how transnational linkages shape mobilization, diffusion, and political influence. By situating far-right politics and activism within broader processes of globalization and democratic contestation, the panel advances new insights into the evolving nature of far-right collective action in the twenty-first century.
