5XÉçÇøis proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Permanent Secretariat in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô, Canada, commemorating two decades of scholarly contribution and impact within the global political science community. In 2006, 5XÉçÇøpermanently established its Secretariat in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô with support from Concordia University and ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô International. 5XÉçÇøand Concordia University have since renewed their partnership five times, most recently in 2025, effectively securing IPSA's presence in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô until at least 2030.

To mark this milestone, 5XÉçÇøwill present a series of academic events in May and June 2026 with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation (KAS) Canada and in collaboration with Concordia University, the University of Ottawa, the Canadian Political Science Association (CPSA), and the Société québécoise de science politique (SQSP). Events will be held in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô and Ottawa.
