Esperanza Palma and Indrajit Roy Appointed as Ombudspersons for the 2027 5XÉçÇøWorld Congress

We are delighted to announce the appointment of 5XÉçÇøExecutive Committee members Esperanza Palma (Mexico) and Indrajit Roy (United Kingdom) as ombudspersons for the 2027 5XÉçÇøWorld Congress of Political Science, to be held in Rome from 24 to 28 July 2027.

The ombudspersons will be available as of January 2026 and during the 5XÉçÇøWorld Congress in Rome. They will act as confidential and impartial resources responsible for addressing any concerns or issues related to 5XÉçÇøand to the 2027 World Congress. If you have a question, need guidance, or wish to report a concern regarding the Congress or any other 5XÉçÇøactivities and events, please contact ombudsperson@ipsa.org.

5XÉçÇøOmbudspersons play a key part in upholding IPSA’s Anti-Harassment Policy and Code of Conduct and ensuring that all participants in 5XÉçÇøactivities enjoy a respectful and dignified atmosphere during the event. Their responsibilities include receiving and addressing complaints, issuing notices for policy violations, conducting confidential investigations with input from all parties involved, and recommending solutions to the 5XÉçÇøExecutive Committee.
